Studying can be stressful and exams can fill you with anxiety. So, you will be pardoned for having days where you are battling to feel motivated, battling to feel inspired.
Sometimes, we just need a motivational slogan. Sometimes we just need a pause from it all, a chance to relax and recharge the mind.
Sometimes we just need to stay down and lose ourselves in the magical realm of cinema. But what if we could relate this to our education goals and watch films that will not just amuse us but also motivate and encourage us to study well.
Here, I go through my top 5 best movies actually for students in high school. Prepare yourself for some real-life biopics and more of a sentimental panorama.

The social network
This movie is a biopic of the origins of Facebook. It features some of the key peoples and events involved in the creation of the World's No.1 social media platform. The film does well to inspire you through the film's main character Mark Zuckerberg played by Jesse Eisenberg.
The plot displays his brilliance and determination to create something incredible that can impact the world. All came from simply having an idea or having somebody else's idea and then changing it, pretending like it was his own original idea in the first place.
The prominent point is that he had an idea, a vision, and was motivated and determined to see it through. I think it's worth a watch but promise me, don't just watch this film for entertainment. Try to think good, and do good in your real life.

The Theory of Everything
Admittedly, it's a similar kind of film. Now, we're watching a biopic of another real-life person. This time, we have Stephen Hawking played by Eddie Redmayne. He is well-known for encouraging many peoples to choose a right path.
While you do enjoy his brilliance, you must admire his ambition and determination to succeed despite his circumstance.
Stephen Hawking is more than he or anyone else could imagine and he did this by overcoming obstacles that seemed impossible. I think it's exceptionally motivating if you yourself find the limitations of your life. You should often need to remember that it's always possible to find success.

X plus
Taking a short break from real-life figures but still based on true events, it is a story of a teenage math prodigy who has difficulty in understanding people but finds comfort in numbers.
This film is generally great for lovers of maths but it also helps us appreciate the difficulties the character faces in everyday life for socializing and prevailing in the world. It's a film that touches your heart making you full of sentiments. We all feel ourselves a little in the story of Nathan played by Asa Butterfield.
It is a film that also helps us appreciate that alongside the difficulty of our study, there is the challenges of growing up in the world. We are learning to find our place in the world which in itself can be difficult.

A beautiful mind
I did say it was going to be a short break from real-life peoples. But John Nash played by Russell Crowe has a strong desire to be original with his opinion in the world of maths and whilst he does uncovers.
He also discovers himself on an unexpected road of his mental health impacting his relationships based on true events.
This film isn't just reasonable for learners of maths but also good for psychology students. With the great co-stars, this film is a must-watch whether you're studying or not. A standout moment for me is when he uses maths to work out the best way to approach a group of women.

The Pursuit of Happiness
The Pursuit of Happiness sees Will Smith and his real-life son, Jaden Smith play actual father and son as they struggle through extremely difficult circumstances.
In this movie, Will Smith's character Chris Gardner has to learn quickly and be determined in the face of absurd situations. This movie is powered by an exceptional performance by Will Smith.
Pursuit of Happiness is a must-watch film if you want to feel a rollercoaster of emotions that leaves you motivated and inspired.
Now, for my ultimate film for study motivation and inspiration.
Good Will Hunting
Good Will Hunting is regarded as one of the outstanding amongst 100 movies ever made. We follow a self-educated virtuoso working as a Janitor and not realizing his full potential.
I don't want to give away too many spoilers to the film but the leading character Will Hunting has a past that has incredibly influenced his future especially on his aspirations.
This film emanates just how powerful knowledge can be and why it's not something that should be wasted similar to the pursuit of happiness.
You're in for a film that touches your sentiments but it's all worth it as this can be your new inspiration to make the most of your opportunities.
